About Murrells Inlet, SC

Murrell's Inlet is surely a highlight of South Carolina's low country. This richly historic fishing village sits on a tidal creek that flows into the Atlantic Ocean and from those marshes and coastal waters come some of the best seafood in South Carolina. Murrell's Inlet Dock

Located just north of Huntington Beach State park and Brookgreen Gardens, Murrell's Inlet offers visitors many wonderful sensory experiences, from delicious seafood at one of the local restaurants ( some of which have history going back 100 years) to the perfect game of golf. There are all manner of water sports here, fishing and boat rentals and charters. Local arts and music events round out the upbeat but laid-back vibe of the Inlet.

After visiting Murrells Inlet you may fall in love with the easy charm of this unique town and decide you want to call it home. Who can blame you? Although like many once little-known hamlets in the South Murrell's Inlet has certainly become more developed, the town has managed to retain it's beauty and charm. Recent years have seen the need for a hospital, post office and more grocery stores and banks.

There are condos and villas overlooking the Inlet itself but due to high demand these do not stay on the market for long.
