Myrtle Beach Condos.net is an ongoing project to showcase all the new and established resorts, condominiums, and multi-family residences in the Grand Strand. The website is owned and presented by David O'Connell of Myrtle Beach.

David O'Connell is a developer and recognized locally as an expert in the investment condominium market. He entered the real estate market in 1998, with a background in marketing, and a winning personality. He was top salesman at what was then a leading $100,000,000 condominium sales company in Myrtle Beach, and eventually left to found his own preconstruction marketing agency.  David recognized early on that real estate sales were beginning to revolve around the internet, and began to build websites to promote his interests and the developments he represented.

In 2004, David and Doug Clayton founded New Resorts LLC, a company that became number one in sales and marketing of many of the large luxury condo resorts in Myrtle Beach, including Prince Resort at the Cherry Grover Pier.

As he became more involved with his own development interests, David moved on to market his own projects and expand beyond preconstruction into resales and single family homesites. David and wife, Jessica, and their four children reside in Myrtle Beach and are active in the community.

After graduating from Myers Park High School in Charlotte, North Carolina, Mike attended Coastal Carolina University on a tennis scholarship. While at Coastal Mike was not only a student athlete but also a member of many academic and social organizations.

His senior year he was President of his fraternity Sigma Phi Epsilon. After graduating with honors from Coastal, Mike moved to south Florida to work at TradeStation Securities where he helped them grow their individual and institutional business, becoming a Global 2000 company in his first three years. While in South Florida Mike quickly caught on to real estate and started investing in foreclosures and bank owned property.

After getting married to Dr. Lisa Gilbert, they decided to move back to South Carolina where he became the founder and President of The Benton Group, Slade Investments LLC, & Murrells Inlet Group.

With a background in bank owned property and finance, Mike became #1 in sales & marketing for a $200,000,000 a year real estate firm in South Carolina. Mike is considered to be Myrtle Beach’s "go to realtor" for REO and foreclosure investing, with over two hundred properties sold in the past eighteen months.
